Job Description and Requirements:  

The Head of Risk & Analytics position is a high growth opportunity that is critical to Split's success as a leading fintech company in the travel industry. We are looking for a senior leader to lead Split's risk team and will be responsible for risk strategy and results.You will work closely with the founders and be responsible to build out comprehensive credit risk models, price our products and manage the funds behind it.

What you will be doing:

Own Split's risk strategy, including fraud and credit risk
Create financial models and deliver in-depth analyses
Develop pricing for our instalment products
Advise founders team on key finance, risk and analytics subjects
Oversee cash movements, actively monitor cash flow and continuously optimize cash utilization
Work with our engineers to build and manage external payment-related integrations
Conduct analysis, processing and reconciliation of payments

What we are looking for:

5+ years of working knowledge in credit risk teams in consumer lending and/or alternative lending companies
Proven history in building out risk models
Entrepreneurial, persistent and curious mindset with the ability to think creatively in ambiguous situations
Ability to think both at a high level and execute in detail
Proven successful people management experience
Comfortable working in a startup culture with the ability to demonstrate leadership and trust
