We are looking for a passionate localization project manager, who has seen many projects from conception to completion. Great communication skills and the ability to maintain tight relationships across a broad set of partners and clients are crucial to be successful. Also, having experience in working with international teams and passion for top of the class customer experience would be a huge plus as well.
Reporting to CEO based in Korea, you will be in charge of the Singapore office and be given a lot of freedom to explore and develop strategies and processes that work for you. The ability to work independently is essential since you will be the first hire for Glocalize in Singapore. Job Description

-Manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with our clients, internal team (based in Korea and the US) as well as our translation freelancers.
-Responsible for setting up the Singapore office and build a strong basis for business expansion throughout the APAC regions.
-Monitor market trends, develop business strategies and establish strong relationships with potential clients.
-Plan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements.
-Collaborate with our contents team to create, implement and maintain appropriate client- or project-specific procedures, solutions, and instructions.
-Work closely with external and internal language service providers to ensure on-time, high-quality translation delivery.
-Negotiate, create and manage project quotes and budgets, and organize and participate in client meetings.
-In charge of recruiting and onboarding new linguists and work with the overall quality manager based in the US.
-Actively seek out prospects and business opportunities

Qualifications
-At least 5 years’ experience in the localization industry, preferably in the entertainment field.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in tight timeframes, while maintaining accuracy and quality.
-Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment with the ability to work independently.
-Great interpersonal and communication skills.
-Fast learner with a sense of responsibility.
-Experience as a linguist/translator and/or dubbing PM experience would be a plus.
-Possess entrepreneurial spirit
