Kosuke Wada from Ocean Network Express (ONE) and Daniel Sparing from Google Cloud will cover the challenges in the container liner business and how disruptive technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Vessels, Big Data Analytics, IoT) tackle them. Daniel Sparing, Machine Learning Specialist, Google Cloud

Daniel Sparing, Ph.D. is a Machine Learning Specialist with Google Cloud, helping organizations build large-scale predictive models that create impact. Daniel has more than 10 years of research and global consulting experience in artificial intelligence and mathematical optimization, across a wide range of industries including finance, telecom, transportation and logistics.

Kosuke Wada, SVP, BPIT Strategy & Innovation Department, ONE

Wada has served in an operational position in the front-line office and a financial accounting position in NYK HQ. From April this year, with the official launch of ONE, he will be leading innovation projects in business processes and building IT systems infrastructures.

The moderator is Mr Kelvin Tan, Deputy Director, Corporate Partnerships, NUS Enterprise and Head of Business Development, Interactive Digital Media Institute. Prior to this, he was Snr VP, New Media, at ServTouch Wywy and co-founded an interactive digital start-up with a China partner. He has held various management positions in leading IT/Telco companies: HP, M1, AT&T and also Telecom Authority of S’pore (former IDA).
