Digital.Next: Language Virtualisation for DevOps/DevSecOps

We will introduce the latest innovations around GraalVM a universal language virtual machine to run polyglot applications with better security posture, higher performance and smaller footprint.

Profile:
Amitpal Singh is presently, Director of Oracle Labs, Research & Advanced Development @ Asia-Pacific & Japan. Recently, he has been active in the development community, having spoken at various developer conferences including Oracle Code in Bangalore/Singapore, Scala Matsuri in Japan, Open Source Conference in Hong Kong and at GraalVM-Graph-DevOps-Security meetups across Asia-Pacific & Japan. Within Oracle he has held various leadership positions in DevOps, DevSecOps and Cyber-Security (including Data Security, Privacy and Blockchain). Amitpal came from Sourcefire Inc.(later a part of Cisco Systems) where he served as part of the Senior Product Management Team in the space of Advanced Threat Detection (using behavioural analytics and data science). This included active involvement in Open Source Network, End-Point Security & Threat Intelligence communities. Previously, he was part of the Global (Identity and Security) Development Team at Applied Materials (Semiconductor) based in the US. He is an avid football (soccer) fan and enjoys running and spending time with family. He has 15+ years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance.
