ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Gain a thorough understanding of and become well-versed in the company’s technology
• Identify, pursue and recruit new clients, partners, and collaborators
• Build and strengthen business relationships
• Negotiate and close deals
• Assist team members in contract preparation and execution by ascertaining and defining the needs and objectives of other parties
• Provide support for marketing initiatives, including website, press releases and social media
• Prepare and deliver business reports, proposals, pitches and quotations
• Conduct pertinent research, including market and competitive analyses
• Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
REQUIREMENTS:
• Dual Bachelor’s degree in Business and Life Science, Engineering or related fields, or alternatively, STEM Bachelor’s Degree with Masters of Business Administration or equivalent work experience
• Must have the ability to comprehend the company’s technology at a level where he or she can properly represent and explain its potential and significance to other parties
• Should have or should be able to quickly gain market knowledge of the relevant industry
• Fast learner with an aptitude to think strategically and innovatively
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
• A team player who is also able to work independently and efficiently, and achieve self-driven results
• Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with business software, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the capacity to quickly learn additional software as needed
