Our client is a disruptive player in the global innovation and technology events space. Founded in London, their brand of events have created ripples in SF, NYC, Europe and now Singapore.
They are now looking for a Community Manager to build their brand and presence in Singapore and targeted markets in Asia. The role will include developing and implementing marketing plans for the technology start-up community and managing industry-specific marketing and lead generation programs to increase mind share; driving event revenue. It will also include maintaining good networking/contacts with this community including start-ups and ecosystem enablers.
You are an ideal candidate if you are a young, hungry, driven, a hustler and constantly innovate to deliver the plan through fresh and effective executional methods. The work is often challenging and fast-paced, suitable if you are seeking a hands-on role in marketing of large scale and intimate start-up events.
Ideally, you should have 1-2 years experience working within the start-up ecosystem and having a keen interest in pushing the innovation agenda for the nation as a whole.
