Requirements:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing the software stack for the prediction engine as well as
news crawling / sentiment analysis for live customer projects supporting some of the largest players in the
logistics and maritime. The purpose of this analytics engine is to help logistics asset owners improve their
capacity utilization and return on investments. You'll be required to be an full stack software engineer.
The role includes understanding business needs, programming (especially in Python) and productionizing
your data product.
● Strong understanding of Python
● Strong understanding of modern software development cycle
● Able to design RESTful APIs and aware of best practices
● Solid knowledge of computer networking
● Experience with Docker, AWS, Git, Elasticsearch, Mongodb, Spark, CI/CD tools a plus
● Demonstrated ability and aptitude to learn new things and contribute ideas
● Experience building distributed systems is a plus
● Responsible for ensuring a watertight security for the solution implemented
● Experience in fields of computer science, engineering, science, mathematics, statistics,
psychology, economics and linguistics are desirable
