This early exposure and excessive use can have serious eye health, mental health and behavioural repercussions if left unchecked.
Plano is a home-grown start-up that was incubated in the Singapore National Eye Centre. The first product is an innovative parental management tool that runs in the background of smart devices, and uses the phones sensors to pick up myopia risk factors and unsafe usage habits. It is designed to empower children by incentivising them with the right behaviours, and through data analytics, improve access to optometry services to those who most need it.

The plano team is looking for a competent developer to join its rapidly growing tech company in Singapore! The successful candidate is primarily responsible for maintaining our proprietary Website and CMS Portal that is designed to prevent myopia in children by utilizing app technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop mobile apps that aligns with company requirements;
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codes
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
Able to adjust tasking based on priorities in accordance to business needs
Follows best coding practices in daily work
Learn version control in development work
Be open to new app technologies and features
Willingness to be involved in other stages of the development lifecycle
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in web development with .Net and Javascript
Experience in Angular, React and other server-side languages (eg. Java, PHP) is a plus
Familiar with REST/JSON
Experienced in basic graphics design and creative work (eg. Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
