Full Stack Software Engineer

As a full-stack software engineer at BlockPunk, you will architect, code & be the lifecycle owner for Ethereum dApps to enable filmmakers to sell digital merchandise, crowdfund movie financing and stream movies directly to their fans through a decentralized streaming platform.

You will work closely with the founders and influence the product and technology strategy as we develop our suite of blockchain based products for filmmakers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- 2+ years of full stack web development in some form: either mobile front-end or web front-end experience paired with a common backend language like Python/NodeJS

- Ability to convert high level product and customer requirements to high quality, reusable and scalable code in fast-paced environments

- Strong interest in building blockchain dApps targeting mobile and web browser environment. No previous experience with crypto or blockchain required.

- Strong grasp of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms

- Communicate clearly & effectively about technical concepts

- Experience with relational databases like MySQL & Postgres and non-relational databases like DynamoDB

- Experience with caching, queuing, RPC frameworks and other building blocks of a large scale distributed systems.

- Front end technologies with preferred skills in: React JS, HTML4/5 and CSS3

- BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
