Fellow Robots is reinventing retail by deploying robots and cameras in retail stores to better manage inventory and help customers. Fellow has had robots deployed live in front of customers at retail stores since 2014. Fellow is now looking to expand its operations into Singapore and launch a software development office here. We are looking for two full-stack software engineers to be our first hires here and be part of the beginning of something exciting. Responsibilities
• Work on backend pipeline features as well as augment them with frontend tooling
• Create features for and fix bugs in a hybrid robot+cloud based platform
• Comfortably work with both local co-workers as well as the rest of your team remotely in Silicon Valley
• Be able to learn and pick up new frameworks/libraries quickly and deploy them into production
• Build prototypes quickly, but that can later still be transformed into production environments
• Be part of an agile/scrum team and work in sprints
• Thrive in a dynamic startup environment
• Work independently, taking initiative when guidance is delayed
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Python experience
Preferred:
• Django experience strongly preferred
• SQL DB experience
• Docker experience
• Git and shell experience
• Experience working remotely with teams in other timezones
• Android experience a plus
• React experience a plus
• ROS experience a plus
• Basic level Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP or AI experience a plus
