We are currently building up a team to develop our latest robotics education project and for that, we are looking for a robotics programmer with a passion to create the latest software for robotics.
Work scope:
- Develop robotic control code using Python and/or C++ in Linux environment (Ubuntu)
- Modularize existing robotic control code for better code management
- Testing of robotic control code using simulation software and hardware
- Design and create new 3D robot models for simulation
Technical requirements:
- Proficient either Python or C++ programming
- Knowledge of Unix systems and Shell scripting is a plus
- Knowledge of ROS, Gazebo is a plus
- Knowledge of 3D modelling using either Blender, Maya, Solidworks is a plus
As the technology stack we are using are very new and at the forefront of robotics software engineering, you are expected to do a lot of self study and online research.
