Senior Database Engineer

We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Database engineer who understands what it takes to own and develop a world class live gaming service backend for AAA games.
The successful candidate is highly creative, motivated, collaborative, player-focused, and has a passion for all things gaming.
As a Senior Database Engineer, you’ll work on the backend server suite for an up-and-coming title as well as future, unannounced titles. You will collaborate with the team and external developers to drive projects from inception to live, while always looking to improve the experience for the team and players.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Building the next generation of NoSQL technology to enable user to deploy, manage and massively scale distributed NoSQL data stores.
- Play a leading role in designing and building this technology
- Able to drive innovation and deliver new projects that improve upon existing NoSQL technologies in the areas of performance, durability and manageability while lowering cost for customers.
- Capable in solving challenging problems with NoSQL technologies and big data processing at scale.
- Experience in building distributed systems, high volume transaction frameworks, database, cache, and/or storage technologies.
- Strong knowledge in common NoSQL or Polygot database design
- Experience with MongoDB, CouchBase, G-wan and Nginx is a plus.

Requirements:
• 5 years applicable experience with proficient in database design, optimization and tuning
• Strong knowledge in Polygot database using SQL, NoSQL, Graph database
• Experienced in deploying scalable backend system
• Cloud infrastructure
• Completely comfortable working in a Windows based development environment (Visual Studio, P4) but no stranger to Linux
• Bonus points for familiarity with anonymized data collection and aggregation techniques
