Our toolbox for Popular Chips consists of PHP, AWS AURORA(MYSQL), NGINX, JQUERY, BOOTSTRAP, AWS INFRASTRUCTURE (and a lot of other stuff). If you are familiar with some or all of these, that is a huge plus. If you are more familiar with other frameworks or databases, that is also helpful.

Your role
The Senior Software Engineer is focused on:
Developing new features for Popular Chips SaaS platform, Popular Chips website and LNK.Bio;
Strengthening and automating our server infrastructure, sysadmin jobs are also welcome;
User interfaces, general front- and backend jobs;
Building automatized data analyses and reporting based on our databases;
Solving performance and scaling issues.
Your Profile
At least 2 years demonstrated experience in software development
You are a good programmer and have the ability to think logically
You are able to work independently
You have an extensive understanding for data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems and information search
You have the ability to write comprehensive code with attention to attainability
You are communicative and able to discuss technical constructs with non-IT people
When something gets broken – and it sure will – you know how to fix it accordingly
For whom we are looking
Strong PHP knowledge, especially about its limits
1A solid understanding of SQL and NO-SQL databases
Experience with big databases and BigData topics
Ability to think “outside-the-box”;
Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and small working environment ( startup settings)
