What we do
We work at the interface between large corporations and startups (from Seed to Series C). Corporations come to us with both conventional and non-conventional business problems that need to be solved, and we find game changing ways to solve these problems through running paid pilots with startups and innovators. We are sector agnostic and have worked across Fintech, Retail, Big Data, Adtech, Marketing Tech, Manufacturing and Supply Chain amongst many others.
As a Programme Manager, you’d get to straddle the tech ecosystem as well as get an intimate understanding about business functions in big corporations. You’d be exposed to all phases of the programme right from scouting and scoping of business problems from corporations to identifying the right startups to solve these problems as well as defining the key metrics to measure the success of the paid pilots.
In addition, you’ll be in charge of the engagement strategy of a leading-edge blockchain-based ecosystem. This involves engaging, incentivising, and managing ecosystem players (startups, corporates, etc.) in AI, blockchain, and Big Data.
Your key responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities with corporations looking to partner with startups.
Scoping and building the business case that will guide the startup scouting process.
Manage the day-to-day relationships with our partners and their stakeholders, and support programme development and execution.
Assist with researching startups or creative solutions to partner briefs, and present the research, use cases and possible solutions to our clients with authority.
Define and execute the engagement strategy of an incentivised blockchain-based ecosystem.
Manage partner expectations in terms of delivery. Write reports and provide updates to continually engage the partners on their respective programmes.
All this will also entail a deep understanding of the private or public sector partner’s organisation (operations, business model, stakeholders, etc.) and its objectives.
Attributes we require of you
Already possess a good knowledge of the technology startup ecosystem in Singapore and the rest of Asia, and understand the roles of its stakeholders.
Specifically, have robust understanding of the blockchain, AI, and data startup scene, blockchain ecosystems, and blockchain-based reward systems.
Have the ability to take ownership of engagement programmes and build its execution plan with a team with full plan from strategy to execution.
Have a solid understanding of how startups operate and be able to appreciate and evaluate their potential with good judgement, whilst recognising how they fit into the wider ecosystem and identifying where they can work with corporations and government.
Have presence, communicate with authority, and be a person of authentic confidence.
Professional skills and experience
A track record in programme / project management, strategic planning, and / or report writing is highly advantageous.
You would have two or more years of work experience.
Prior experience working in consulting firms, startups, or agencies is a plus.
Experience in building business cases, designing and / or running innovation workshops.
