Calling all startups: Asia’s most exciting deep tech pitching competition is back!

This is your chance to anchor yourself in Singapore – one of the world’s top innovation nodes – and compete for over S$1.1M (US$800,000) in attractive prizes!

 In our fifth edition, we are looking for startups in four emerging challenge sectors to showcase your game-changing solutions and products. Make the pitch of a lifetime to a global audience of major investors, industry leaders, and thought leaders! 

Shortlisted startups will be given the opportunity to develop corporate partnerships and join us at Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology 2021 (SWITCH 2021).

The Grand Winner of SLINGSHOT 2021 will receive:

 

SGD 200,000 Startup SG Grant Prize (On top of SGD 50,000 Startup SG Grant which is awarded to Top 12 startups)

 

In-kind Prize:

 

18 months’ rent-free space at JTC launchpad

 

 

The Top 12 Startups will each receive:

 

S$50,000 Startup SG Grant Prize each

 

 

The Top 100 Global Startups will receive:

 

  • An exclusive invitation to compete at SLINGSHOT 2021's Virtual Finals, held as part of SWITCH

  • Support for EntrePass, the working visa for foreign entrepreneurs in Singapore [International applicants only]

  • Participation in SLINGSHOT 100: Gear Up, a three-day curated workshop with one-to-one mentoring, valuable networking opportunities, and connections to Southeast Asia’s vibrant tech ecosystem

 

The Top 1000 Global Startups will receive:

 

  • The chance to participate in the SLINGSHOT Corporate Challenge, connect with innovation-ready corporates, and embark on co-innovation projects to win up to S$30,000 in Startup SG grant prizes.

  • Participation in SLINGSHOT 1,000: Disrupt, a three-day series of masterclasses and workshops. Gain insights into sector-specific trends and challenges, pitch your innovative ideas to corporates looking for solutions, and explore co-innovation opportunities!

SLINGSHOT 2021 VIRTUAL FINALS

 

The Finals will be held from 8 to 10 November 2021 during the Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology 2021 (SWITCH 2021).

SLINGSHOT’s Top 100 Global Startups will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pitch on the global stage to over 100 corporates, investors and startup thought leaders.
